Meditation in Rishikesh

The Birthplace of Yoga

Rishikesh has long been reputed to be the birthplace of Yoga. It is the best place to learn everything related to Yoga and Meditation is also a very big part of the subject. In fact, practicing Yogi will tell you that the only reason we practice Yoga is to be able to open our body so that we can sit in Meditation. Unfortunately, most of the world has forgotten this and thinks of Yoga as exercise. If you look at history, hundreds of saints, monks, gurus and, hermits all spent a considerable amount of time in Rishikesh practicing Yoga, Meditation, and other rituals. It is the starting point before one over further up into the Himalayas and along with the blessings of the Holy Ganga, all these holy people have also behind an abundance of blessings

Rishikesh is also a great choice for those that are looking to seek knowledge on an academic and professional level. One is able to receive the qualifications to educate others and work in the fields anywhere in the country or world. Longer duration courses like the 300 or 500 hours TTC's are designed specifically to train one up to the standards required by professionals.

Although the 300-hour Meditation TTC is an advanced training program, the good news is that even a beginner who wishes to enroll may do so. This is because the course has been developed to train one’s skills starting from ground zero. From beginner to intermediate to advance levels. To reach an advanced level, however, in any practice, it all depends on one’s level of motivation, self-study, and self-practice.
